Great read, as usual, Paul. So, does this mean that we can't put assets into shared albums and delete them from our own feed? I do that with work assets and teach others to do that. It's really helpful for those who use their phones to create content.
I put the photo/video into a shared folder (shared with the team or me) and then delete it from my Photos. It'll remain in the shared folder and not in my Photos so all I see are my personal photos.
Clever. That’s how I use iCloud Shared Photo Library. I don’t see why the new Shared Albums would change that. In fact it would be even better because the Shared Albums content will be Original quality. I’ll play with that.
I get a lot of value from iCloud already and I think this just adds more. Between a robust Shared Albums and iCloud Links I can share and transfer pretty much any file without using WeTransfer, Dropbox, Air.inc, or other third party services.
