I found the same thing. Journal entries offer a unique perspective, with photos and notes together. I have a few older journal entries from the iPhone but they were more tedious to create than I liked. Once I could use it on the iPad, my usage improved and I am using them more often to document a day trip or special moment. I hope that the next OS release will offer more export and sharing options.
